This project was an extension to the Department of Anthropology at University College London. Here SESE were responsible for the supervision of all external works packages including Ground work, Asphalting, Cladding and Curtain wall packages.

The most involving feature of this part new build part refurb project was its new build Pod. Built on the existing roof terrace of this 5 story building, every part of this process was unique and had to be thoroughly thought through before commencing. A true design and build process in action.

SESE worked closely with all the contractors involved including specialists in the zinc cladding process; enabling us to achieve our personal goal of learning more and more from every job we do.

Again SESE’s flexible management shone through by willingly and effectively helping the internal works contractors achieve their targets under the direction of our client as and when required; all as different parts of one team.

One of the many hurdles which the team overcame included the fact that the building was active throughout this construction work.

All the packages that SESE were responsible for ran smoothly and productively throughout this contract.
