Setting Out

Setting Out 2

As the first stage of construction, setting out involves physically marking out site gridlines and sub-structural elements such as drainage runs, pile positions and ground beams. At a later date super-structure and feature elements such as your RC slabs, columns positions, brickwork returns, K10 stud walls and cladding offsets are also set out by a site engineer.

Be it residential housing, office blocks, extensions or structural alterations; mapping out what is required will help avoid expensive errors. At South East Site Engineers we execute as much of the pre-setting out calculation work and point storage as possible at our central London office before we attend site. This results in our site teams spending a fraction of the time normally required to set out.

We are focused on providing an accurate and reliable service package to a client base that has become accustomed to getting exactly what they need exactly when they need it.
