As we are not an agency all of our staff take a very personal interest in the projects we take on. Whether we are setting out pile positions and road curves for contractors, surveying land topographies and measured building dimensions for architects or applying gridlines and datum levels for private developers; SESE are here to help.
As a team lead by site managers and engineers with 20 years of individual construction site experience, SESE’s 2D/3D CAD technicians, geomatic surveyors and setting out engineers are able to assist on building projects at any stage from initial planning to final as-built surveys.
Treating our large scale commercial, small scale private, education authority and local government clients alike; we pride ourselves in always being professional, prompt and precise.
Sese Ltd Services:
For structural accuracy and client peace of mind our fixed price and day rate site engineering services introduce an important element of predictability to the initial cost of a building project.
Whether the SESE team are establishing initial site control points and site boundaries using Ordnance Survey or WGS84 GPS, setting out local grid station points using robotic total stations or carrying out a traversed datum level transfer with an automatic dumpy level; our setting out teams provide solutions for everything from site grid lines and pile positions to drainage pop-up locations, stanchion base centrelines and external brickwork leaf returns.
Whether you require a 3D concrete surface scan, a front and rear brickwork elevation or an OSGB36 topographic land survey; measured surveys are useful for all sorts of building information modelling including building refurbishments, right of light planning disputes, historic building records, geodesic stockpile volumes and new build phased handover validations.
Our handover validation or as built surveys can also be produced as 3D surveys and issues in a number of different formats including DWG, PDF and SketchUp files depending on how you want to manipulate the information. For more information on how we can help you with our measured surveys click here.
Itself considered a form of measured survey, when carried out by ourselves this is a static continuous point monitoring service designed to keep track of the effect of a construction project on any neighbouring properties. The service we provide is designed to satisfy the periodic needs of all sides of a party wall agreement.
As a practice focused on both the static and dynamic loading of new and existing structures our engineers deliver primarily on smaller scale bespoke projects. We can help with many client needs including pad foundation design, 2 storey rear extensions and building control calculations; to find out more please click here.
Health and Safety
At SESE we are committed to the highest standards of safety, health and environmental practice. We recognise the importance of providing a safe and healthy working environment for both our staff and those we come in contact with every day. SESE function through the H&S Policies & Manuals which underpin our work as a company. All of our site staff are CSCS Card qualified in their particular areas of expertise and we continually invest in their learning and training to provide a well skilled workforce.
